Locum Tenens Urology Opportunity – 2026 Call Coverage

Overview
A healthcare facility is seeking experienced Urologists for 24/7 hospital and ER call coverage throughout the second half of 2026. This role involves inpatient rounding with no elective cases. Providers must be comfortable managing a full range of general urology cases, including difficult catheterizations.

Schedule & Call Details

• 24-hour call shifts: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Multiple weekend blocks available between May and December 2026
• Providers must commit to a minimum of 8 full call blocks (no partial availability accepted)

Available Dates (2026)

• May 8 – May 11, May 22 – May 25
• June 5 – June 8, June 19 – June 22
• July 3 – July 6, July 17 – July 20, July 31 – August 3
• August 14 – August 17, August 28 – August 31
• September 11 – September 14, September 25 – September 28
• October 9 – October 12, October 23 – October 26
• November 6 – November 9, November 20 – November 23
• December 4 – December 7, December 18 – December 21, December 25 – December 28

Orientation Requirement

• Mandatory orientation: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Must be completed preferably one business day prior to first scheduled shift

Candidate Requirements

• Active Indiana medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (must obtain certification within 5 years of residency)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience
• Comfortable with full-scope general urology procedures
• Procedure logs required (past 12 months)

Certifications & Compliance

• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
• Flu vaccination – Required (or approved exemption)
• COVID-19 vaccination – Required (or approved exemption)

Additional Expectations

• Timely completion of order entry by the locum provider
• Accurate and consistent time entry using the designated platform
