Facility:
This medical center is seeking to fill an open position in their busy urology department. The facility features modern equipment including onsite robotics for surgical cases and provides comprehensive urological services to the community. The department operates with excellent support staff and utilizes Epic EMR system.
Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
• Provide general urology care in clinic and on-call settings for 3-6 months
• Handle 20-25 patients per day in a fast-paced, busy department
• Perform 20-30 surgeries per month including cystoscopy, vasectomies, prostate biopsy, TURP, ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, ESWL, and Botox injections
• Manage both clinic hours (8a-4p) and call responsibilities (5p-8a night call, 7a-7a 24-hour call)
• Take call 5-6 days per month with 1:6 call schedule
• Handle 20% new consults and 80% established patient callbacks when on call
• Perform hospital rounding as needed with hospitalist team support
• Work with dedicated support staff including 2 RNs, MA, surgery scheduler, and front office team
• Utilize Epic EMR system and onsite robotic equipment when appropriate
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (0-5 years post-residency)
• Active Washington state license highly preferred or IMLC with LOQ in hand
• Current ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred with mandatory NPDB self-query report
• 3-month credentialing timeframe required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
