This 154-bed hospital serves the western North Carolina region with comprehensive healthcare services. The facility features modern medical technology and works collaboratively with a practice of 2 physicians to provide quality urological care to the community.
Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
• Build a pool of candidates to cover various days throughout the month/year, supplementing existing practice with 2 physicians • Handle hospital call duties and after-hours clinic call as needed • See approximately 8-10 patient encounters per shift • Provide general adult urology services • Perform advanced endoscopic techniques and laparoscopic surgeries • Conduct percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, and nephrectomy procedures • Perform renal and bladder ultrasounds with biopsy capabilities • Conduct TRUS biopsies and incontinence procedures • ESWL experience preferred • Must be board certified or board eligible • Must maintain active North Carolina medical license • ACLS and BLS certifications required • Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-90 days • Lodging available in Waynesville, Clyde or Canton areas
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
