Job Responsibilities
Dr. McCarthy has been practicing in this area 15+ years and is a wonderful teacher and mentor.
Currently he performs his surgeries at Columbus Regional, in Whiteville, NC, but we are scheduled to open our new MOB and Ambulatory Surgery Center in the Brunswick Forest area of Leland Dec 2026! We are very excited about this. The groundbreaking was held on 12/4. The Uro office will be moving to that location as well.
At the hospital we have two D5s, an SI, Aquablation, HIFU, new cystotable….basically most anything a Urologist would want or need! Dr. McCarthy does MRI-guided biopsies in his office.
We have another URO office in Whiteville with Dr. David Lehr and two FNPs.
Qualifications
Working Hours
Full-time: Monday- Friday (8am-5pm)
On-call schedule- responsible for your surgical patients for the week.
