A hospital in NYC is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to provide immediate 24-hour home call coverage.
About the Opportunity
- Location: Call coverage from home, with potential hospital call-backs (1-2 times per week).
- Start Date: Immediate (temporary privileges available).
- Coverage needed: December 1st
Responsibilities
- Remote Availability: Be accessible by phone or secure messaging for ER and inpatient consults during assigned call periods.
- Triage & Coordination: Assess cases remotely, determine urgency, and advise on initial management.
- Hospital Response: Travel to the hospital for emergent surgical procedures or critical interventions when necessary.
- Documentation: Complete consult notes and operative reports promptly.
Qualifications
- MD/DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Urology
- Active New York State Medical License
- Ability to manage urgent cases independently and efficiently
