The facility features modern equipment including a Da Vinci robotic system, comprehensive urology services, and a collaborative team environment. With a fully electronic medical record system (EPIC) and dedicated support staff, this hospital provides an excellent working environment for urologists.
**Opportunity: Board Certified Urology**
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a Board Certified Urologist to join a respected healthcare team. The locum assignment spans 3-4 months, providing both clinical and surgical responsibilities in a collegial environment with established protocols and support systems.
**Job Details:**
- Full-time position (M-F) starting end of June for 3-4 months
- Schedule includes Monday OR, Tuesday-Thursday full days, Friday half day
- Patient volume averages 16 clinic patients per day
- Practice is 90% outpatient, 10% inpatient
- Perform general urology procedures including cystoscopy, vasectomies, and prostate biopsies
- Surgical cases include treatment of BPH, kidney stones, and other general urology procedures (1-5 per week)
- Access to Da Vinci robotic system
- Call responsibilities shared with 5 private urologists (1:4 maximum)
- Average call volume is 4-5 phone calls per day with approximately 3 in-person visits per week
- Morning inpatient rounds with typically 1-2 patients maximum
- Adult practice (primarily 18+ years, occasionally 16+)
- Fully equipped facility with 5 exam rooms and 2 procedure rooms
- Support staff includes front desk, surgery scheduler, MA-C (Uro Tech), and RN
- EPIC EMR system
- Washington license required (IMLC with LOQ in hand may be considered)
- ACLS, BLS, and DEA certification required
