Neuro-Oncologist - Academic and Clinical Opportunity in North Carolina
Location: Greenville, North Carolina

Position Overview:
Seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Neuro-Oncologist to join their expanding multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will collaborate with specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology-oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, and neuropathology.

Hospital privileges at a 974-bed academic medical center and the region s only American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Academic Comprehensive Cancer Center
Established neuro-oncology program with a comprehensive brain tumor care approach
Multidisciplinary neuroscience team including:
- 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists
- Over 20 neurologists with subspecialties in interventional neurology, vascular neurology, neurocritical care, pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring, and neuro-oncology
24-bed Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) led by neurointensivists
75-bed CARF-accredited rehabilitation center providing inpatient and outpatient support
Advanced neuro-oncological interventions and technologies including GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, CyberKnife radiosurgery, and participation in innovative clinical trials
Opportunity to engage in a 9-hospital cancer care network with 5 Commission on Cancer accredited sites sharing a unified electronic medical record system and pursuing network accreditation
Active clinical trials program through ECU Health and East Carolina University s Brody School of Medicine, with membership in the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology
Involvement in teaching and mentorship of hematology-oncology fellows and neurology residents
