Locums Urology coverage in Georgia with a predictable clinic plus inpatient rounding and consults, supported by an NP first call model. Ongoing need
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient urology
- Clinic, inpatient rounding/consults & OR time
- Support team includes 3 NPs, MAs, hospital staff
- Level 2 trauma center, with many higher acuity cases shipped out due to current team size
Cases and Procedures
- Bread and butter urology cases
- General urology, clinic visits, inpatient rounding, and hospital consults
- Typical volumes, outpatient 6 to 10 patients per day; inpatient roughly 2 to 5 morning rounds and about 3 consults in the afternoon, variable
- Visit timing, 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for follow ups
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Urology
- Georgia license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, open to IMLC Physicians
- BLS and DEA required
