URGENT: Urologist needed in Ketchikan, Alaska
*Location: Beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska
*Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
*Start Date: ASAP
*End Date: Ongoing until perm placement is made (they have been searching for quite a while)
*Coverage: Looking for providers willing to take at least 1-2 weeks per month or more; 3-6 month placement + extensions; clinic for consults and Hospital for OR and Post-Op rounding
*Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm; specific schedule for each block is negotiable on days of the week
*Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
*Requirements
- Active, unrestricted AK license, or license in progress with determined issuance date
- Board Certified Urology providers
- Clean DEA & NPDB (no current suits tor unresolved cases)
- Will be Solo Urology Provider
- ACLS
- 3 month commitment at minimum
- Fully vaccinated (COVID) providers only
*Support available: 6 other providers working in family
*EMR: Epic( must be proficient)
*Volume: Clinic: M/W/F 15-20 patients per day, with 5-6 being office procedures; Hospital: T/TH 5-6 surgeries per day with rounding; 50 patients per week, including any ED coverage
*Travel & Lodging provided
*Malpractice Insurance provided
