**Urology opportunity in Olean, NY** Located just over an hour from Buffalo, NY **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent position - Successful multi-specialty group is seeking a BC/BE Urologist. - Located in western NY State, 15 miles below the snow belt. While January and February are cold months, Olean does not get the snow that the rest of the state gets. We aren't quite suburban but we have so much to offer. The community's population is a little over 36k and we service an area of more than 160k. The community hospital has 186 beds. - Physicians at this Group work Monday through Friday, 8 - 5, with very limited call. - The group has 18 specialties and 37 providers currently. No robotics at this time. **About the Group:** The hospital is directly next door to our facility and on the other side of our building is a dialysis center and a wound care clinic. A heliport is at the rear. A newly constructed ambulatory surgical center is directly across the street. This physician-owned group is very progressive, as well as congenial. Their primary care has been designated Level 3 PCMH as of February 2012, and has been fully integrated in EMR since 2006. The main office has an accredited Lab, PT, and an accredited Radiology Dept. (fully digital). The satellite offices (4) are all within 28 miles and patients are referred to the main office for additional testing. **About Olean, NY:** In addition to great downhill skiing, we also have a terrific State Park, with wonderful ski trails and hiking. There is more to us than sports though. We have three theater companies (one of them is for children) and a symphony orchestra. We have a very stable economy because our city is home to a few large industries, a university, a community college, the hospital, and although we are not the county seat, all of the County employees work here (1200). There is much to do here and we are only 23 miles from a ski/golf resort (good skiing and snowboarding). We also have affordable housing, great schools, good shopping and proximity to larger mall shopping within an hour's drive.
