Urogynecology Faculty Opportunity
*Location: Rochester, MN | Full-Time, permanent position*
Position Highlights
* Join the Division of Urogynecology, managing complex benign pelvic surgery including urogenital fistula, congenital anomalies, and multispecialty complex abdominal-pelvic procedures
* Work collaboratively with specialists in obstetrics, gastroenterology, urology, neurology, colorectal surgery, plastic surgery, and physical medicine & rehabilitation
* Participate in a division of 5 Urogynecologic surgeons and 2 advanced practice providers
* Engage with a Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology comprising 50+ board-certified physicians and a rich patient mix (regional, national, international)
* Contribute to residency and fellowship education, including AAGL and ACGME-accredited training programs, and the Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) fellowship
Key Responsibilities
* Provide independent surgical care for complex pelvic floor disorders
* Participate in collaborative, multidisciplinary patient evaluation and management
* Conduct high-quality research, including clinical/surgical trials with potential for external funding
* Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
* Promote inclusivity and foster a culture of belonging within the team and with patients
Qualifications
* Completion of an ACGME-accredited URPS fellowship
* Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN and URPS
* Advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical skills preferred
* Strong clinical focus with academic engagement, ideally at the Assistant Professor level
