Why This Role
Ongoing coverage with multiple openings
No call responsibilities
Multiple urgent care locations throughout the St. Louis metro
Epic EMR
Established outpatient urgent care practice
Assignment Details
Start Date: October 19, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; weekdays, weekends, and block scheduling preferred
Coverage Type: No Call
Patient Volume: 36-48 patients per shift
Setting: Outpatient urgent care
Support: Medical assistant and office staff
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 120 days
Clinical Details
Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric urgent care patients
Minor procedures including suturing, wound care, splinting, casts, incision and drainage
Interpretation of EKGs and X-rays; bone and soft tissue injury management
Requirements
BC/BE (within 5 years of residency) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds
Active MO license or IMLC
BLS (American Heart Association)
Active DEA
