Carrollton, GA
A well-established health system in West Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join its Urgent Care team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a structured schedule, hourly compensation with quarterly incentives, and excellent clinical and administrative support. The position is ideal for an experienced Family Medicine physician interested in a fast-paced outpatient environment with the potential to advance into a Medical Director role.
Position Highlights
* Full-time Urgent Care position
* Approximately 40 hours per week
* Practice across locations in Carrollton, Villa Rica, and Bremen, Georgia
* 3–5 years of clinical experience required
* Opportunity to become Medical Director
* Hourly compensation plus quarterly incentive opportunities
* Every other weekend required
* Excellent clinical, administrative, and management support
* Epic EMR utilized systemwide
* Established health system with strong specialty and referral resources
Schedule
* Week 1: Three weekday shifts
* Week 2: Two weekday shifts plus Saturday and Sunday
* Average of approximately 40 hours per week
* Monday–Friday clinic hours: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, or until the last patient is seen
* Saturday–Sunday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, or until the last patient is seen
* Every other weekend required
Clinical Responsibilities
* Evaluate and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and minor injuries.
* Provide efficient, evidence-based outpatient care to patients presenting with urgent medical needs.
* Perform appropriate office-based procedures within the physician's scope of practice.
* Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
* Coordinate referrals and higher levels of care when clinically appropriate.
* Work collaboratively with nursing, clinical support staff, Primary Care physicians, and specialists.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation through Epic.
* Potential to participate in clinical leadership and operational initiatives as the practice continues to grow.

Qualifications
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
* 3–5 years of clinical experience required
* Eligible for an unrestricted Georgia medical license
* DOT certification preferred
* Comfortable practicing in a busy Urgent Care environment
* Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and teamwork skills
