Job description
A growing 24/7 Quick Care Plus clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care physician to provide outpatient urgent care and family medicine services. This role combines scheduled primary care visits with same-day appointments and walk-in urgent care services. Providers will treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, perform office-based procedures, and help manage preventive care and wellness initiatives. The clinic is located adjacent to the hospital, allowing seamless transfer of patients requiring higher levels of care.
This is a locum tenens opportunity supporting the launch of a new outpatient facility with an anticipated go-live date of October 26. Providers will work alongside APPs, nursing staff, medical assistants, and administrative support using Epic EMR.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat scheduled and walk-in patients
Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and minor injuries
Perform minor office procedures including:
Laceration repair and suturing
Splinting
Abscess incision and drainage
Joint injections
Order and interpret:
Laboratory studies
X-rays
EKGs
Conduct preventive health screenings and wellness visits
Manage chronic medical conditions
Identify and close HEDIS and wellness care gaps
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff
Transfer higher-acuity patients to the emergency department when appropriate
Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
Qualifications
Family Medicine (Preferred)
Internal Medicine
Primary Care
Active Nevada Medical License OR IMLC Letter of Qualification with ability to obtain Nevada licensure
Nevada DEA
Nevada CSR
Current AHA BLS Certification
Ability to treat all ages in an urgent care setting
Experience performing routine urgent care procedures
Preferred
Previous Urgent Care experience
Family Medicine background with walk-in clinic experience
Local Nevada candidates strongly preferred
Working Hours
Full-Time Preferred
4 shifts per week
4-on / 3-off schedule
No call responsibilities
Available Shifts
Morning: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Currently filled Monday-Thursday
Afternoon: 1:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Night: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Clinic operates 24/7
Holidays and weekends required
Part-time considered during initial ramp-up period
Average 30 patients per day
20-minute appointment slots plus walk-ins
