Urgent Care Provider Opening in WI Located in Baldwin, WI - Minneapolis 45m Position Highlights:

  • Part-time, 0.6 FTE urgent care opportunity
  • 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period
  • Outpatient urgent care setting
  • Open to Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants
  • Practice independently as part of a physician/advanced practice provider team
  • Provide clinical care and comprehensive patient assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and conditions
  • Order and interpret medical diagnostics
  • Prescribe medications, treatments, therapy, and medical equipment
  • Provide patient education for illness management and wellness care
  • Refer patients for specialty care when appropriate
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Serve as a liaison with the Emergency Department and inpatient unit
  • Participate in program development and initiatives to increase community access to care
Schedule: 0.6 FTE 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period Primarily evening shifts until 7pm One Saturday per month, 8am–2pm Urgent Care hours Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm Saturday hours, 8am–2pm Holiday hours, 8am–2pm Qualifications: Physician candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical school and have completed residency training Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, if applicable Wisconsin medical license or eligibility to obtain Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification in Wisconsin Must meet credentialing and privileging requirements Practice Environment: Independent hospital and healthcare system State-of-the-art facility Collaborative physician and APP team Greater provider voice and flexibility in decision-making Organization focused on caring, innovation, sustainability, and community engagement Supports both traditional and holistic approaches to healing Family Friendly Workplace certified Gold-level Well Workplace Award recipient Community: Located in Baldwin, Wisconsin Approximately 25 miles from St. Paul, Minnesota Convenient access to the Twin Cities Community-focused environment with an emphasis on wellness and healthy living
