Urgent Care Provider Opening in WI Located in Baldwin, WI Position Overview

  • Urgent Care provider opportunity for a Physician
  • Join an established, independent healthcare system in Western Wisconsin
  • 0.75 FTE position, totaling 60 hours per biweekly pay period
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient urgent care services to patients of all ages
  • Practice independently within a collaborative physician and advanced practice provider team
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute illnesses and medical conditions
  • Support increased access to high-quality healthcare within the community
Practice Highlights Schedule of 60 hours every two weeks (0.75 FTE) Primarily evening shifts ending at 7 PM Saturday coverage required once per month, 8 AM–2 PM Urgent Care hours are Monday–Friday, 7 AM–7 PM, and Saturday, 8 AM–2 PM Holiday hours are 8 AM–2 PM Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate medications and treatments Provide patient education, preventive care, and chronic disease management guidance Coordinate specialty referrals and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Work closely with emergency department and inpatient services Opportunity to participate in program development and community healthcare initiatives Practice within a modern, state-of-the-art healthcare facility Independent organization offering greater provider input and flexibility in clinical decision-making Qualifications MD or DO with completed residency training Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine for physician candidates, as applicable Wisconsin professional license or eligibility for licensure Ability to obtain and maintain DEA registration in Wisconsin Must meet credentialing and clinical privileging requirements Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills Comfortable providing care to patients across different age groups and backgrounds Ability to practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compensation & Benefits Compensation and benefits details to be discussed 0.75 FTE position Supportive, collaborative practice environment Organization recognized as a Certified Family Friendly Workplace Gold-Level Well Workplace Award recipient About Baldwin, WI Located in Western Wisconsin, approximately 25 miles from St. Paul, Minnesota Welcoming small-town community with convenient access to the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area Affordable housing options compared to larger metropolitan areas Access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and cultural attractions in the Twin Cities Abundant outdoor recreation, including hiking, biking, fishing, and boating Family-friendly community with local schools and recreational amenities Scenic surroundings offering a peaceful lifestyle with access to urban conveniences
