Urgent Care -Physician Opportunity In Georgia!

Accepting 2026 & 2027 candidates. We are not accepting visa candidates

Major Health System is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine physician to work as a full-time Urgent Care provider.

• Requires 3-5 years’ experience
• Opportunity to become medical director
• Every other weekend is required.
• Hourly rate with quarterly incentives
• No Visa candidates will be accepted. 2026 & 2027 candidates are welcome to apply

Structure of position:

• Provider will work 3 weekdays one week/2 weekend days plus two weekdays the following week, weekly avg. ~40hrs
• Clinic Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday, 8a – 8p (or until last patient seen); Sat/Sun 8a – 5p (or until last patient seen)
  • Provider will be expected to work every other weekend
• Excellent clinical staff, administrative and management support
• They utilize EPIC EMR systemwide
• Malpractice insurance paid, annual CME allowance, PTO plus many extras

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• DOT Certification preferred
• Georgia Medical licensure or eligibility

• Located just 65 miles west of Atlanta, this location is a thriving small town with surprisingly big appeal. The area offers residents a suburban rural mix feel, and many residents tend to be conservative. The public schools in the area are above average. Moderate cost of living, great public and private schools and a low crime rate, make this a great place to raise a family!
