Opportunity Highlights:

Schedule:
- Clinics are open 7 days per week
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Typical 12-hour shifts
- Weekend availability is required
- No holiday coverage required
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients ranging from 3 months through geriatric ages
- Diagnose and manage low- to moderate-acuity illnesses and injuries
- Perform medical screening exams and develop treatment plans
- Read and interpret EKGs
- Interpret X-rays with final reads supported by teleradiology
- Manage occupational medicine and workers' compensation cases
- Complete DOT physicals when applicable
- Document encounters accurately within the EMR
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient urgent care
- Average patient volume of approximately 3-3.5 patients per hour
- Providers practice independently with onsite clinical staff support
- Teleradiology available for final radiology interpretations
- EMR: Experity
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Minimum of 1 year of recent urgent care experience
- Emergency Medicine physicians with primarily ER experience are welcome to apply
- Comfortable seeing patients from 3 months through geriatric ages
- Able to work independently without onsite physician/APP support
- Experience reading EKGs and interpreting X-rays
- Occupational medicine, workers' compensation, and DOT physical experience preferred
- Active state medical license and DEA (or willingness to obtain licensure if needed)
- Active BLS certification
Credentialing: Approximately 60-90 days
