Job description
We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine physician to provide virtual urgent care services to patients nationwide. In this fully remote role, you will evaluate and treat a wide variety of low-acuity, non-emergent medical conditions through a modern telehealth platform using live video, chat, asynchronous messaging, and test-based visits. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy practicing evidence-based urgent care medicine while improving access to convenient, high-quality care.
Job Responsibilities
Manage concerns such as upper respiratory infections, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, skin conditions, gastrointestinal illnesses, allergies, eye concerns, medication refills, and other non-emergent acute conditions.
Provide patient education, prescribe appropriate medications, recommend follow-up care, and determine when escalation to an in-person evaluation is necessary.
Respond to patient questions through multiple care modalities, including live video, chat, asynchronous messaging, and test-based visits.
Deliver efficient, high-quality care while maintaining a productivity goal of approximately 12 patient interactions ("touches") per hour.
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe, timely, and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of telemedicine experience required.
Experience treating adult patients; pediatric experience is highly preferred.
Active medical licenses in 15+ states, including:
At least 2 of the following: California, Texas, Florida
At least 3 of the following: Missouri, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, or South Carolina
Working Hours
Wednesday–Friday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Saturday–Monday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Day-time shift options:
Saturday - Monday| 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills
Startup healthcare experience is a plus.
