Job description
We are seeking an Urgent Care physician for a locum tenens position in Des Moines, IA. This is a fully remote telehealth opportunity providing virtual urgent care visits, with a mix of asynchronous and synchronous patient encounters. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Claim asynchronous tickets dynamically based on training and licensure
Review charts and patient history prior to synchronous visits
Submit monthly availability for synchronous appointment scheduling
Operating hours (EST): Urgent Care 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Qualifications
Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
Active state license(s)
Working Hours
20+ hours/week
Start Date: 6/1/2026
Length: 26 weeks (flexible)
