Urgent Care Opportunity in Ashland, KY
A leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urgent Care Physician to join a collaborative and patient-centered team. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering flexible scheduling, strong compensation, and no inpatient responsibilities.
Practice Details
Full-time employed Urgent Care position
Flexible scheduling with clinic open 7 days per week
No overnight call or inpatient responsibilities
Team-based environment with physician and APP support
Integrated EMR system across the network
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of urgent care conditions and minor injuries
Perform in-office procedures including suturing, splinting, abscess drainage, and wound care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs and imaging
Collaborate with providers and support staff to ensure coordinated care
Refer patients to primary care or specialists as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Adhere to clinical protocols and regulatory standards
Support & Resources
Modern urgent care facilities with access to imaging and lab services
Strong referral network across primary care and specialty services
Collaborative clinical environment with experienced staff

$250,000 salary plus wRVU productivity incentives

Requirements
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure
