This urgent care center is part of a well-established healthcare network dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to local communities. The facility operates with strong support staff including center management, medical assistants, patient service associates, and offsite supervising physicians for advanced practice providers.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice - Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Physician Assistant - Emergency Medicine, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Job Details:
• Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
• Handle high-volume patient care with up to 40-60 patients per day (average 40 for this site)
• Function as sole provider in the center with strong support staff
• Must have experience treating both adults and pediatrics with minimum 12 months experience required
• Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all patient visits and documentation
• Must demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic medical records
• Board certification required (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards)
• Required certifications include BLS, NC DEA, and appropriate board certification
• Must maintain active North Carolina license
• Participate in mandatory EMR training and onboarding sessions held on Wednesdays
• Must pass clinical screening interview process
• Maintain positive attitude embodying the organization's culture of high-quality community healthcare
• Available for ongoing coverage within 60-mile radius if needed
• No call requirements or overnight responsibilities
• Supervising physician support provided offsite for advanced practice providers
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
