This urgent care center is part of a well-established healthcare network providing comprehensive urgent care services to the community. The facility offers a collaborative work environment with supportive staff including center managers, medical assistants, and patient service associates.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Urgent Care
Job Details:
• PRIMARY CARE position requiring experience in both primary care and urgent care settings
• Average of 20 patients per day (up to 40 PPD depending on site)
• Serve as the sole provider in the center treating adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)
• Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
• Must be proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system
• Strong interpersonal skills required as you'll work one-on-one with support staff and patients
• Support staff includes Center Manager, MA, PSA, with Supervising Physician offsite for APPs
• No call requirements
• Must have minimum 12 months of relevant experience (new graduates not considered)
• Must maintain active North Carolina medical license
• Required certifications include Board Certification/NCCPA/NP Boards and BLS
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
• Must complete clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding prior to first solo shift
• Multiple locations available with support needed within a 65-mile radius of provider's residence

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
