We are currently seeking a Locum Tenens Urgent Care Physician for coverage at the Client’s Center in Massillon, Ohio. This high-priority opportunity offers a consistent 12-hour shift schedule and will provide critical support until a full-time physician is onboard.
Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of non-emergent conditions
• Work independently during 12-hour shifts (single physician coverage)
• Collaborate with an APP (Advanced Practice Provider) team for patient care
• Use CareCloud EMR for documentation and patient records
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clinical and administrative staff
• Follow established clinical protocols and uphold OVP Health standards of care
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
o Family Medicine (FM)
o Internal Medicine (IM)
o Emergency Medicine (EM)
o Occupational Medicine (OM)
• Active Ohio medical license – ✅ Required (no exceptions)
• Active DEA registration – ✅ Required by start date
• BLS Certification – ✅ Required
Working Hours
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Schedule flexibility available (7-on/7-off, 5 days/week, or alternative models)
Skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume urgent care setting (50–60 patients/day)
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working independently in a single-physician model
• Proficient with CareCloud EMR (or ability to learn quickly)
