Job description Urgent Care Physician - West Virginia

GHR Healthcare is partnered with a well-known Urgent Care organization seeking locum tenens Physicians to support their urgent care facilities in West Virginia.

Locations needing support:
  • Princeton, WV
  • Fayetteville, WV
  • Lewisburg, WV
  • Elkins, WV

Job Responsibilities

Provider will see patients with cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, they may do splints, Xrays/EKGs, drawing blood and I&Ds. Typical Urgent Care assignment, anything high acuity will get referred to the local ER.

Qualifications

*MUST have a min of 2yrs of experience in urgent care or 1yr of experience in emergency medicine

*MUST be comfortable seeing patients of all ages

*MUST be comfortable with orthopedic procedures (splinting) and wound care

Working Hours

Clinic Hours: Mon-Sun 8a-8p; Looking for FT 12+ shifts per month or PT 10+ shifts per month
