Urgent Care Physician Opportunity in Sumter, SC
$10,000 Sign-on Bonus for External Candidates
Position Highlights:
Employed role
Urgent care setting with flexible, rotating schedule
13 shifts/month required: opportunity to pick up additional shifts
Work across two locations: Sumter and Manning, SC
Schedule: M-F 7:30am-6pm; Sat/Sun 7:30am-5pm
Focus on non-emergent conditions and minor procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients for a wide range of urgent medical needs
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, EKGs, labs)
Develop care plans, prescribe medications, and ensure follow-up
Supervise advanced practice providers as needed
Maintain accurate EMR documentation
Participate in quality improvement and adhere to clinical protocols
Travel between clinical sites as needed
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $222,500 - $376,500 annually (based on experience/location)

Candidate Requirements:
MD/DO from accredited program
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (preferred)
Unrestricted SC medical license (or ability to obtain)
Active DEA license
ACLS/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Proficiency with EMR and Microsoft Office tools
Preferred:
Prior urgent care experience
Familiarity with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
EMR system experience
