This is an excellent opportunity for an urgent care provider to practice in a unique setting with diverse patient presentations. The position offers exposure to a wide range of urgent care cases from wilderness medicine to routine urgent care in a facility that experiences high seasonal demand.
Job Details:
- Treat a wide range of urgent care cases from minor trauma and orthopedic injuries to altitude-related illness and seasonal infections
- Bustling practice from spring through fall due to surge of national park visitors
- Shift times negotiable
- Practice hours: 7am-7pm Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm Saturday & Sunday
- No holiday coverage required
- Patient volume: 20-25 patients per 12-hour shift
- Board certification or eligibility required
- BLS certification required
- Provider apartment available for lodging
- Coverage needed ASAP for busy tourist season with potential for ongoing coverage year-round
- Nearest airport: Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
