This Regional Medical Center is assisting a well-established hospital employed Surgical practice in the Treasure Coast in their search for a board certified/board eligible Vascular Surgeon. The group is part of a network of employed surgeons and primary care physicians in St Lucie County. Call with be equally shared among three Vascular Surgeons and supported by surgeons at a sister facility in the county. A Fellowship in Vascular Surgery is required. Fort Pierce is known as the Sunrise City. As of 2012, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau was 42,645. It is named after the army installation of Fort Pierce built in the area in 1838 during the Second Seminole War.
