Job description
Aya Healthcare is seeking a BC Vascular Surgeon for a part-time locum tenens call coverage assignment at Alameda Health System's Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA. Coverage is weekend 24-hour call and weeknight call, with a minimum of 4 shifts per month; start date 1/25/2027.
- Level 1 trauma center in Oakland, CA
- Alameda Health System academic safety-net hospital
- Epic charting
- Vascular trauma and open vascular surgery case mix
Job Responsibilities
• Approx. 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week (50% weeknight / 50% weekend)
• Minimum of 4 shifts per month
• Manage vascular trauma and open vascular surgery cases at a Level 1 trauma center
• Chart in Epic
Qualifications
• 4-5 years of vascular surgery experience (fellowship training may count)
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required (Level 1 strongly preferred); vascular trauma call experience
• California license and CA DEA required
• Fluoroscopy certification and ACLS required
• Willing to license
