Aya Healthcare is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens call coverage assignment at Alameda Health System's Highland Hospital, a Level I trauma center in Oakland, CA.
• Level I trauma center with Epic charting
• Weekend 24-hour beeper call (7A-7A) and weeknight beeper call (5P-7A)
• Approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week; minimum 4 shifts per month
• Vascular trauma and open surgery experience required
• Anticipated start January 2027
• Level I trauma center with Epic charting

Job Responsibilities
• Manage vascular trauma cases and perform open and endovascular procedures
• Cover approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week
• Commit to a minimum of 4 shifts per month
Qualifications
• 4-5 years of vascular surgery experience (fellowship training may count)
• Level I or II trauma experience (Level I strongly preferred) and vascular trauma call experience
• Active California license and CA DEA
• Fluoroscopy certification and ACLS required
