Job description
Locum tenens opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon providing night and weekend call coverage at Alameda Health System's Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA.
- Level 1 trauma center
- Acute care hospital serving adult patients
- Need for approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week
- Minimum of 4 shifts per month
- Epic charting; busier census during summer
Job Responsibilities
• Cover approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week (50% weeknight / 50% weekend)
• Manage vascular trauma and perform open vascular surgery, including fluoroscopy
• Minimum commitment of 4 shifts per month
Qualifications
• 4-5 years of vascular surgery experience (fellowship training may count)
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience (Level 1 strongly preferred) and vascular trauma call experience
• Active California license and CA DEA
• Fluoroscopy certification and ACLS required
