Aya Healthcare is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for a part-time locum tenens night and weekend call assignment at Alameda Health System's Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA, a Level I trauma center.
• Level I trauma center with vascular trauma call
• Approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week of beeper call coverage (50% weeknight / 50% weekend)
• Minimum of 4 shifts per month
• Epic EMR
• Anticipated start date January 2027
• Level I trauma center with vascular trauma call

Job Responsibilities
• Cover weekend 24-hour beeper call (7A-7A) and weeknight beeper call (5P-7A)
• Respond to call back as needed
• Work within a Level I trauma center environment
Qualifications
• 4-5 years of vascular surgery experience required (can include fellowship training)
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience required (Level 1 strongly preferred); vascular trauma call experience
• Active California license and California DEA required (willing to license)
• Fluoroscopy certification and ACLS required
