Vascular Surgeon Opportunity
* Located in Dayton, OH - Cincinnati 55m
* Full-time, permanent position
Position Overview
* Two Vascular Surgeon openings
* Full-time, hospital-employed positions
* Practice across 2 hospital locations approximately 10 minutes apart
* Comprehensive open and endovascular Vascular Surgery
* Current 1:4 call schedule with planned transition to 1:6
* Residents provide first-call coverage
* Practicing physicians and new graduates encouraged to apply
Qualifications
* MD or DO degree
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
* Completion of a Vascular Surgery Fellowship or Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency
* Ohio medical license
* Strong clinical, surgical, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
* Interest in resident education and knowledge sharing
Practice Highlights
* Established, growing, high-volume Vascular Surgery practice
* Experienced physician partners with APP support in clinic and surgery
* Resident involvement and teaching opportunities
* Level II Trauma Center at primary hospital
* Access to 3 hybrid operating rooms across 2 hospitals
* Strong referral network with more than 70 Primary Care offices
* Carotid endarterectomy
* Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) and open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair
* Mesenteric revascularization and retroperitoneal cutdown
* Upper and lower extremity vascular disease
* Lower extremity amputations
* Varicose vein surgery and venous disease management
* Dialysis access
* Raynaud's phenomenon management
* Clinic-based procedures including hemodialysis catheter removal, sclerotherapy, and selected stab phlebectomies
* Collaboration with specialists throughout an integrated health system
