Job Title: Locum Physician - Vascular Surgery

A renowned healthcare facility in Robbinsdale is actively seeking a Vascular Surgeon to provide exceptional patient care starting December 1, pending credentialing completion. The practice focuses on a mix of inpatient hospital-based and clinic settings. This opportunity not only provides a chance to work in a Level 1 trauma center but also allows for involvement in post-operative visits and surgical referrals as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide 24-hour pager coverage, including inpatient rounding and consults.
- Manage emergent surgeries and vascular injuries.
- Handle an average of 1-2 urgent/emergent cases weekly, with a total of 3-5 cases per week.
- Collaborate with a team to ensure continuous 24/7 healthcare coverage.
- Utilize and document patient care through the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within the last 5 years of residency.
- Completion of a fellowship in vascular surgery.
- Minimum of two years of clinical practice experience.
- Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Minnesota medical license (preferred).
- Board Certification in Vascular Surgery.
