Locum - Surgery: Vascular - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Vascular Surgery in Fairfield, OH

This vibrant facility is looking for a dedicated Vascular Surgeon to provide coverage for an ongoing period over the next six months. The practice encompasses both inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring a well-rounded experience in managing diverse patient needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care to adult patients.
• Conduct inpatient rounding and perform endovascular and surgical procedures.
• Manage clinic responsibilities and after-hours call coverage.
• Document patient interactions and procedures using the EPIC EMR system.
• Participate in call coverage with a ratio of 1 in 4.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (Required)
• At least 2 years of work experience (Required)
• Completion of a Vascular Surgery fellowship (Required)
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues (Required)
• Ability to provide proof of previous employment in a similar setting, if applicable.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Ohio Medical License (Preferred)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (Required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (Required)
• Current DEA registration (Required)
