Med Ninjas is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for long term permanent coverage at a inpatient/outpatient facility located in Findlay, Ohio
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Open Start Date
This assignment includes outpatient clinic, onsite hospital coverage, open and endovascular vascular procedures, and 10 night/weekend call shifts per month.

Permanent Vascular Surgeon
Shift: 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days per week
Start Date: Open
End Date: Permanent

Position Details:
Patient Population: Vascular surgery patients
Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
Responsibilities: Establish and lead a community-based vascular surgery program, provide advanced vascular surgical care, perform open and endovascular procedures, manage vascular conditions with medical and non-surgical interventions, supervise APPs, collaborate with multidisciplinary specialties, and participate in program development and expansion
Required Procedures: Abdominal and thoracic aneurysmal disease, carotid artery disease, hemodialysis access, peripheral vascular disease, limb salvage, open and endovascular procedures
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Advanced Practice Provider(s), PRN vascular surgeon, vascular surgery APP, OSU vascular surgeon phone support, cardiology, interventional radiology, and other specialty teams
Days Per Month: 2 clinic days and 3 procedural/surgical days per week
On-Call/Weekends: 10 night/weekend call shifts per month; daytime coverage not included

Requirements

• Truly Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility with plans to test or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery – REQUIRED
• Ohio license or willing to obtain – REQUIRED
• DEA must be obtained prior to start – REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and license – REQUIRED
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days – REQUIRED
