An established healthcare system in Wisconsin is seeking a Vascular / General Surgeon to join its growing surgical program.
This is a unique opportunity for a surgeon who wants to maintain a broad General Surgery practice while developing a meaningful vascular component. The current surgeon's practice is approximately 40% vascular and 60% general surgery, providing a diverse case mix and close collaboration with the organization's cardiovascular team.
The current Vascular/General Surgeon is also open to mentoring an incoming surgeon, making this an attractive opportunity for an early-career physician or recent graduate from a General Surgery residency program with significant vascular exposure.
Job Responsibilities
Current surgeon available to provide mentorship and clinical support
Strong fit for a General Surgeon coming from a residency program with significant vascular training and case exposure
Access to robotic surgical technology
Multispecialty clinic located adjacent to the hospital
Potential opportunity to practice at a new ambulatory surgery center
Opportunity to collaborate with the organization's Cancer Center
Established referral network

Qualifications
MD or DO
Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
Strong vascular surgery training and procedural experience
Ability to manage both vascular and general surgical cases
Eligibility for an unrestricted Wisconsin medical license
Strong clinical judgment and surgical skills
Interest in working closely with an established cardiovascular team
Collaborative, patient-centered approach
Recent graduates are encouraged to inquire, particularly those coming from General Surgery residency programs with substantial vascular case volume and training.

1:4 shared General Surgery call
