Midland Medical Center is looking to add Vascular Surgeons to their traveling roster! Open shifts from Oct-Dec.!
Job Responsibilities
o Clinic, Call, or Both:
Both
o Schedule:
One business day of Orientation/Epic Training
Up to two business days of Proctoring
Monday -Friday (Midland Clinic)

Weekend Call 1:3-Ocassional 2 weekends a month
o Clinic/Inpatient Rounding:
One day of Orientation
Two days of Proctoring
Inpatient rounding, outpatient clinic, procedures and surgery utilizing cath/IR/hybrid/OR/Vascular lab, week and weekend call coverage, holiday call coverage, vascular testing reads
o Cases/Procedures:
Provider Productivity 90th percentile
2025 Volumes: 2371
OR: 566
Invasive: 1323
Satellite: 184
Minor Cosmetic: 276
Testing Reads: 10195
Proctoring requirement 5 cases
o Clinic Volume:
New & Established visit types only
2025 Clinic Volume: 5995 (combined between 3 surgeons)
o Clinical support:
4 APP's
Will not be supervising
o EMR and Dictation Tools:
EPIC/Dragon
o Required experience, training, and certifications:
BC/BE
BLS, ACLS
o Case Logs:
All applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have performed at least 50 major vascular surgical procedures, reflective of the scope of privileges requested, in the past 12 months. Including 7 open aortic, mix of care
o Consider IMLC or waiting for a license:
Will consider IMLC
o Credentialing Timeframe:
Typically 30 days, but applications are prioritized according to start date
