Seeking a qualified physician for locum tenens coverage at a Level I Trauma hospital in Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician interested in recurring monthly coverage at a hospital-based practice.

Coverage Schedule

• Start: January 2027
• Coverage: One 5-consecutive-day block per month
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Call: Required, including potential weekend coverage
• Number of Physicians Needed: 1
• Reason for Coverage: Open FTE

Practice Setting

• Setting: 100% Inpatient / Hospital-Based
• Patient Population: 100% Adult & Geriatric
• Average Census: Approximately 10–15 patients per day
• Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
• EMR: Epic
• Leadership/Teaching: No teaching or leadership responsibilities required

Responsibilities

• Inpatient hospital coverage
• Emergency Department (ED) coverage
• Surgical coverage
• Coverage of inpatient units
• Evaluation and management of adult and geriatric patients
• Participation in required call coverage

Call Requirements

• Call Required: Yes
• Call Type: Beeper/Phone Call and In-House Call
• Call Ratio: Approximately 1:5
• Average Callback: Approximately 1 hour

Credentialing

• Estimated Credentialing Time: Approximately 120 days
• Temporary Privileges: Available
