Job description
We are seeking a Vascular Surgery physician for a locum tenens position in Hazlet, New Jersey. This is an outpatient venous practice opportunity combining office-based clinic work with procedures performed in an ambulatory surgery center. Please see below for more information.
- Outpatient clinic setting with ambulatory surgery center procedure days
Job Responsibilities
Review venous ultrasound results, interpret findings, and discuss results and treatment options with patients
Perform radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in the ambulatory surgery center
Perform Varithena foam sclerotherapy in the ambulatory surgery center
Provide follow-up care and ongoing management for patients undergoing venous intervention
Qualifications
Active New Jersey state medical license, or willingness to obtain
Working Hours
Ambulatory surgery center procedure days: typically 4-6 hours, with morning start times that vary based on the scheduled surgery
No call required
