Position Summary: Vandalia Health/Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) and the Institute for Academic Medicine seeks an accomplished and forward-thinking Vascular Surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to become our Division Chief of Vascular Surgery and join our thriving Academic Health Center in Charleston, WV. This is an exciting opportunity for those with a passion for transforming health care delivery in a clinically evolving environment through innovation, technology, and systems-based thinking.
This role provides outstanding opportunities for leadership, career development, academic advancement, and mentoring the next generation. The Division Chief is responsible for maintaining high standards of in-patient and ambulatory clinical care, supervising faculty, and overseeing the management of the service line. The Chief will partner with the Department Chair to develop a comprehensive strategy for the division’s growth and development and foster a culture that supports faculty promotion through research, service and scholarly activity.
Job Responsibilities
l Must have an MD, DO or foreign equivalent and obtain a state medical license
l Board certified
l Demonstrated leadership in academic and/or clinical settings
