## Vascular Surgeon Opening | Findlay, OH Located in Findlay, Ohio Full-Time, Permanent ## Practice Overview * Full-time Vascular Surgery opportunity in Findlay, Ohio * Join a collaborative partnership between a regional health system and a nationally recognized academic medical center * Opportunity to establish and lead a growing community-based Vascular Surgery program * Perform a broad range of open and endovascular vascular procedures, including: * Abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysm repair * Carotid artery disease * Hemodialysis access * Peripheral arterial disease * Limb salvage * Provide comprehensive vascular care utilizing medical management, lifestyle modification, and surgical intervention * Weekly schedule includes: * 2 clinic days * 3 procedural/operative days * Shared call covering 10 night/weekend call shifts per month, supported by: * PRN Vascular Surgeon * Dedicated Vascular Surgery APP * Phone consultation from an academic Vascular Surgeon * Supervise Advanced Practice Provider(s) involved in vascular care * Collaborate closely with Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and other multidisciplinary specialists * Help expand the vascular program, including recruitment of additional providers and transition to a hybrid operating room planned for completion by 2027 * Participate in the education of medical students, residents, fellows, nursing staff, and allied health professionals * Opportunity for physician leadership based on experience and interest * Clinical faculty appointment available (Assistant or Associate Professor) with a major academic medical center while maintaining a 100% clinical practice * Access to comprehensive cardiovascular services, including cardiac catheterization, vascular testing, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, stress testing, emergency cardiac care, and cardiac rehabilitation ## Compensation & Recruitment Package * Starting base salary: * $500,000 (0–3 years of experience) * $550,000 (4–6 years of experience) * $600,000 (7+ years of experience) * Annual performance bonus opportunity of up to $75,000 * $50,000 sign-on bonus * Up to $15,000 relocation assistance * Total annual compensation potential of $500,000–$600,000+ ## Job Qualifications * MD or DO * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery * Ohio medical license or eligibility * DEA registration required prior to start * Clean malpractice and licensure history required ## Benefits * 176 hours of annual vacation with carryover * 120 hours of annual sick leave * 11 paid holidays * $7,500 annual CME allowance * 401(k) and 403(b) retirement plan options * Eligibility for comprehensive academic retirement benefits * Clinical faculty appointment with a nationally recognized academic medical center * Comprehensive employee benefits package ## Community Details Findlay is consistently recognized as one of Ohio's best communities for raising a family, offering an outstanding quality of life, excellent schools, affordable housing, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere.
