Job description
We are seeking a Vascular Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Oakland, California. This is a call coverage opportunity at a Level I trauma center with a vascular trauma focus. Please see below for more information.
- Level I Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
• Perform vascular trauma surgery and open vascular procedures
• Respond to call-backs and take patients to the operating room as needed
• Treat an adult patient population
• Practice with established experience in vascular trauma call coverage at a Level I or Level II trauma center
Qualifications
• Active California medical license
• California DEA
• Fluoroscopy certification
• ACLS
Working Hours
Weeknight beeper call, 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Approximately two weekends per month and three weeknights per week
Minimum of four shifts per month required
