Job description
We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to provide inpatient call coverage at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Coverage is needed on an ongoing basis until a permanent vascular surgeon is recruited. Please see below for more information.
- Practice setting: acute care hospital, inpatient
- Coverage: 24-hour call; approximately 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month (maximum of three 24-hour call shifts per month, including nights and weekends)
- Manages vascular and cardiothoracic patients in the hospital setting
- Ongoing until a permanent surgeon is recruited
Job Responsibilities
Manage vascular and cardiothoracic patients in the hospital setting.
Cover approximately 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month (maximum three 24-hour call shifts monthly).
Provide ongoing coverage until a permanent surgeon is recruited.
Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery.
Active state medical license (or ability to obtain licensure).
DEA required.
