We are seeking a Vascular Surgery physician for a locum tenens position in Oakland, CA. This is an opportunity to provide call coverage at a Level 1 trauma center with a robust vascular trauma program. Please see below for more information.
Level 1 trauma center. EMR: Epic.
Job Responsibilities
Manage acute vascular emergencies and vascular trauma emergencies
Perform open and endovascular surgical procedures
Provide expert-level intraoperative and perioperative vascular care
Collaborate with trauma surgery and critical care teams on complex cases
Qualifications
California medical license
California DEA registration
Fluoroscopy certification (required)
ACLS certification
Working Hours
Weeknight beeper call coverage: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
Approximately 2 weekends per month and 3 weeknights per week
Minimum 4 shifts per month
