Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon for ongoing locum coverage beginning August 2026. This opportunity includes a mix of clinic, inpatient rounding, OR, IR, and call coverage within a collaborative vascular surgery program.
Assignment Details:
- Start: August 2026
- Ongoing coverage
- Immediate August–September needs
Schedule:
- Day coverage: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Night call: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Combination of clinical coverage and call responsibilities
Practice Setting:
- Hospital-based vascular surgery service
- Clinic + OR + IR coverage
- Epic EMR
Work Details:
- 10–15 vascular procedures expected
- Inpatient rounding
- Clinic coverage
- OR and interventional procedures
- APP support available
Procedures Required:
- Endovascular pulmonary thrombectomy
- Deep venous thrombectomy
- Acute limb ischemia management
- CLTI treatment
- Fistula/graft thrombectomy
- Fistulograms with intervention
- Dialysis access management
- Tunneled catheter placement
Requirements:
- MD/DO only
- Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
- Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred
- Clean malpractice history required
Credentialing:
- Approximately 4–6 weeks
- IMLC may expedite timeline
Additional Notes:
- Seeking providers known for professionalism and responsiveness
- High collaboration with referring facilities and providers expected
