Job description
We are seeking a Vascular Surgery physician for a locum tenens position in Oakland, CA. This is a night and weekend on-call coverage opportunity at a Level 1 trauma center. Please see below for more information.
- Trauma Level: Level 1
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage vascular trauma cases at a Level 1 trauma center
Perform vascular and open surgical procedures as needed
Respond to callbacks for emergent cases
Care for adult patient population in an acute care hospital setting
Qualifications
Active California state license
California DEA
Fluoroscopy certification
ACLS
Working Hours
Weekend 24-hour beeper call coverage (7:00a–7:00a)
Weeknight beeper call (5:00p–7:00a)
Coverage needed: approximately 2 weekends/month and 3 weeknights/week (minimum 4 shifts/month)
Start Date: 9/7/2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
