Vascular Surgery Opportunity in Orange Park, FL
Position Overview:
A well-established acute care hospital in the Jacksonville, FL area is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a growing, multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon looking to practice the full spectrum of vascular procedures in a high-volume, supportive environment.
Assignment Details:
Full-time, employed position
Mixed schedule with rotating weekends
Perform a broad range of vascular surgery procedures
Opportunity to build and grow a vascular surgery program
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiology, critical care, and hospital medicine
Practice Environment:
Level II Trauma Center
400+ bed full-service acute care hospital
10 operating rooms and 40 ICU beds
Comprehensive Stroke Center
44-bed Emergency Department with high annual patient volume
Established graduate medical education programs with residency and fellowship training
Strong infrastructure and administrative support
Requirements:
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
Eligible for Florida medical license
Ability to independently perform a full range of vascular procedures
Team-oriented with strong communication skills
