Job description

A hospital-based vascular surgery team is seeking additional coverage support while permanent providers are being recruited. This role is primarily focused on inpatient and call coverage.

Schedule

  • 8 shifts per month
  • 24-hour call shifts

Practice Setting

  • Hospital-based practice
  • 643-bed facility
  • EMR: Epic
  • Team includes:
    • 3 surgeons
    • 5 APPs

Volume & Responsibilities

  • Primarily assisting with call coverage
  • Average daily volume: 0–3 cases per day
  • Inpatient coverage responsibilities included

Procedures & Skills

Providers should be comfortable with a full vascular surgery skill set, including:

  • Open vascular procedures
  • Endovascular procedures
  • EVAR / TEVAR
  • Lower extremity ischemia management

Requirements

  • Board Certification required
  • Active Georgia license or IMLC accepted
  • ACLS required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience

Credentialing

  • Estimated timeframe: 90–120 days
  • Will consider compact license candidates due to timeline needs
