Job description
Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Columbus, OH. This position supports two hospitals, including a large Level II Trauma Center, with a mix of scheduled and weekend call coverage.
This is a great opportunity for a provider looking for consistent, low-frequency call coverage with strong support and a well-established system.
Job Responsibilities
Manage inpatient consults, rounding, and surgical cases
Cover both Riverside Methodist Hospital and Doctors Hospital
Collaborate with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams
Handle adult patient population
Qualifications
Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ required
DEA required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Trauma Level II experience preferred
Working Hours
1 weekend per month: Friday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM
Additional Monday–Thursday coverage for vacation as needed
Estimated callback: 4–6 hours per day
Skills
Comfortable with call-only coverage model
Ability to manage inpatient cases independently
Team-oriented with solid communication skills
