Vascular Surgery Locum Opportunity – Columbus, OH
A leading hospital system in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Vascular Surgeon for ongoing locum tenens coverage starting June 2026. This is a great opportunity to provide call coverage across two well-supported facilities.
Position Highlights:
- Start Date: June 1, 2026
- Contract Length: Ongoing
- Shift Type: 24-hour call
- Schedule:
- 1 weekend per month (Friday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM)
- Additional weekday call (Monday–Thursday) for vacation coverage as needed
- Call Volume: Approximately 4–6 hours of callbacks per day
Practice Details:
- Hospital-based setting
- Covering Riverside (1,059 beds, Level II Trauma Center) and Doctors Hospital (213 beds, non-trauma)
- Adult patient population
- Strong support staff including nursing and multi-specialty teams
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery
- Active Ohio license or IMLC LOQ required
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
Additional Information:
- Credentialing: Temporary privileges available in approximately 30 days
- 2 hours gratis
